Chariton County Confirms Another Case

The Chariton County Health Center has been notified that there is one new positive case of COVID-19 in Chariton County. This makes 12 total cases with six of them being active cases and six recovered cases. No further information will be provided about these individuals by the Chariton County Health Center. The Chariton County Health Center will be working on contact tracing with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the CDC to identify anyone who may have come into contact with the individual while they were infectious. Those contacts will be asked to self-quarantine for 14 days, and will be monitored for fever, respiratory issues and other symptoms of COVID-19.
