Centralia High School senior Trevor Bodine recently signed with Central Methodist University to continue his wrestling career. CMU’s wrestling program is coming off its first year of competition. Bodine explains what led him to sign with the young program.

Bodine capped his wrestling career at Centralia this past February with a third place finish at state. He captured a state title in the Class 2 195-pound weight class during his junior season, and finished fourth at state during his sophomore year. However, Bodine says his favorite part of wrestling at Centralia came off the mat.

Centralia capped this past season with a second place finish in Class 1. Bodine says his time outside of wrestling for Centralia High School was also memorable.

Bodine plans to major in business at Central Methodist. However, he hasn’t decided on an exact career path as of yet.
