Centralia named Tyler Forsee its head football coach last week. Forsee served as Jim Newsted’s defensive coordinator the last three seasons, but Newsted resigned when he received the West Platte head job March 13th. Forsee recaps the hiring process.

The Centralia graduate played for Hall of Fame coach Erle Bennett’s 2002 state runner-up team before a brief career at Culver-Stockton College. Forsee was the defensive coordinator for Lafayette County’s 2011 state runner-up team before he joined the Centralia staff and assisted both Bennett and Newsted.

Forsee reveals his staff plans.

Forsee’s Panther defense allowed 10.4 points per game last year as Centralia finished 10-1 with an undefeated regular season and Clarence Cannon Conference championship. Hear Tyler Forsee’s full interview on the Chariton Valley Magic City Sports Talk page at centralmoinfo.com.
