The Centralia School District has launched a Literacy Coaches Program for kindergarten through fifth grade students and their teachers. Superintendent Dr. Steven Chancellor says four women help teachers teach literacy skills.
The school board heard a report on the program’s early success this month. Chancellor explains how the program benefits both the students and the teachers.
The board also discussed plans for a no-tax-increase bond issue for the upcoming April election.
