Centralia and Hallsville Meet in District Semifinals Again

Centralia and Hallsville meet in the district semifinals for a second straight year. Hallsville came back from a 12-point fourth quarter deficit in last year’s game to get a 38-36 win. This year, Centralia erased an early 12-point deficit to notch a 26-20 victory back in Week 2. Coach Tyler Forsee expects another tough matchup.

The 7-2 Panthers earned a first round district bye.

Hallsville is 5-5 and opened districts by blanking Palmyra 38-0. Coach Justin Conyers says his team has faced plenty of adversity.

Starting quarterback Colton Nichols has missed the last two games and is a game-time decision. Running back and former KRES All-Star Harrison Fowler was missing in the Week 2 contest. Conyers says clock management and execution will be pivotal.

You can hear Hallsville at Centralia on KTCM with pregame starting around 6:40. Austin Ward will have the call.
