Celtics Re-Sign Brodric Thomas

The Boston Celtics have signed Brodric Thomas to their training camp roster according to Thomas’ agency Overtime and Boston media outlets. The former Truman State standout signed a two-way contract with the Eastern Conference-champion Celtics last year. In the 12 games he played for them, Thomas averaged 1.8 points. Because he was on a two-way contract, he was never eligible to play in the playoffs.

Thomas played 22 games for the team’s G League affiliate in Maine, averaging 14.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and nearly four assists.

Thomas played for the Celtics during the 2022 Las Vegas Summer League. In the four games played, he averaged 13 points, five rebounds and shot 52 percent from three.

His senior season in Kirksville, Thomas was the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year.
