After a 2018 season that saw Austin Gomber pitch 75 innings for the St Louis Cardinals, he saw little playing time in an injury-filled 2019. Gomber explains what he was going through.

Gomber’s last game before injury was May 13th and he was kept out until August 23rd.

Gomber moved to Jupiter, Florida this offseason and began working with renowned trainer Eric Cressey.

Appearing at three levels in the Cardinals organization, Gomber started 11 games in 2019 and appeared in 12. He went 4-1 with a 3.26 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 49 2/3 innings.
