Cardinals vs Pirates Series Postponed

The string of postponements continues for the St Louis Cardinals. Major League Baseball has announced the Cardinals’ series against the Pittsburgh Pirates has been postponed. This comes after outfielder Lane Thomas becomes the latest Cardinals’ player to test positive for COVID-19. A total of ten Cardinal players and seven staff members have now tested positive for the virus. As a result, members of the Cardinals will continue to undergo rounds of testing and will be quarantined until it is deemed safe to return to play. The Cardinals haven’t played a game since July 29th.
