Both the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals have announced their 60-game schedules for the pandemic shortened 2020 Major League Baseball season. The Cardinals will open their season at home July 24th to begin a three-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates. That will be followed by seven straight games on the road against Minnesota, Milwaukee, and Detroit. The schedule also features a game against the Chicago White Sox on August 13th at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa. The regular-season schedule for St. Louis will conclude against Milwaukee on September 27th.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Royals will open the season on the road July 24th against the Cleveland Indians. Following an early road trip, the Royals will return home to Kauffman Stadium to face the White Sox on July 31st. The Royals’ regular-season slate will conclude at home with a four-game series against the Detroit Tigers from September 24th through the 27th.

The Cardinals and Royals will also battle each other in a pair of three-game series. The first three games will be played in St. Louis from August 24th through the 26th. The two teams will then face each other in Kansas City, September 21st through the 23rd.
