Canton Man Faces DWI Charge For Accident

A Canton man was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated after an accident on the north outer road of Highway 24 a mile east of Taylor around 6 Sunday morning. The State Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Steven Pruessner’s SUV went off the left side of the road and hit a sign. He had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene before being booked and released at the Marion County Jail.
