Calving Clinics This Week In Salisbury, Clark

University of Missouri Extension will host a pair of clinics this week providing tips on common issues that might occur during calving.  Livestock specialist Heather Conrow will host the clinics Tuesday in Salisbury and Thursday in Clark, and has a preview.

Conrow explains why it’s important for livestock producers to know what steps they could take to address complications during the birthing process.

Tuesday’s clinic in Salisbury will take place at Ricketts Farm Service, while Thursday’s clinic in Clark will be at MFA Agri Services.  Registration fee is $25, and Conrow notes that 4-H and FFA members can earn project hours for attending.  To register or for more information, contact the Howard County Extension Office at 660-248-2272.
