Cairo Girls Return Key Players from District Title Team

The Cairo girls caught fire at the end of last season and turned it into a district championship. After going 1-3 to end January, the Lady Bearcats notched 10 straight wins. Coach Brian Winkler shared the process of peaking at the right time.
Cairo returns three starters and leading bench player Jersey Bailey, who Winkler says was crucial to last season’s success.
Winkler says this year’s early approach will be owning the fundamentals.
Cairo opens its season Monday, November 21 at Van-Far.
