Cairo Coaches Talk Salisbury Tournament

Our coverage of the Salisbury Tournament begins Friday with the seventh place, and consolation championships taking place. In the girls bracket, Salisbury is the top seed followed by Cairo, then Norborne, Paris, South Shelby, Meadville, Carrollton, and Glasgow. Cairo Lady Cat coach Brian Winkler believes this will be one of the best girls tournaments in the area this year.

The Cairo Bearcats are the top seed in the boys bracket. Back at the Peak Sport and Spine Holiday Shootout a couple weeks ago, coach Nic Zenker said the boys tournament is once again a strong field.

Salisbury is the two seed, Meadville’s three, followed by Paris and Glasgow, then Carrollton, South Shelby, and Norborne.
