Field days at the University of Missouri’s research farms will go virtual this summer. The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources announced last week that presentations of research taking place at each center will be made available online the morning of each field day. Tim Reinbott, director of MU’s South Farm, says that CAFNR has been wanting to add an online tour for some time.

Reinbott says virtual tours will also allow farmers to watch presentations from other parts of the state.

South Farm Director Tim Reinbott notes that in-person field days will return once it is safe for Mizzou’s research centers to host them, but that virtual tours will also be built in. Videos will appear on each center’s website and Facebook page, with the first event August 4th from Greenley Research Center in Novelty. A list of field days is available on the CAFNR website.
