Busick Supports Election Integrity Bill

The Missouri House approved HJR 104 last week, which its supporters say is intended to address election integrity. State Representative Danny Busick says it contains some simple adjustments to voting laws.

It also bans ranked choice voting statewide.

He says ranked choice election results also take too long to tabulate. The bill also specifies that only citizens of the United States shall be entitled to vote in public elections, which opponents have pointed out is already the case in Missouri. Voters would have to approve that change to the state constitution.
