The Missouri House this week approved the Parental Bill of Rights 85-49, however Republican State Representative Danny Busick of Newtown did not support the entire package, and was marked absent when the vote was taken. He thought it was too much of a burden on rural schools.
He thought that would be too much of a financial hardship on districts. Busick says he did support part of the bill.
The bill was sent to the Senate.
