Busick Discusses MoDOT Funding Bill

A proposal in the Missouri House would change how MoDOT is funded. State Representative Danny Busick of Newtown explains the plan would have MoDOT’s funds approved by the Legislature.
Busick is on the House Transportation Committee. He says he hasn’t made up his mind yet.
Busick says some lawmakers have questioned whether MoDOT has always spent money wisely. Republican Don Mayhew of Crocker sponsored HJR 37, which would also require approval by the voters.
