Lawmakers in the House approved a supplemental budget this week that included funds for Medicaid expansion through the end of June. Last year, lawmakers didn’t fund the expansion that had been approved by the voters, and the courts later ruled that the state still had to expand the program. State Representative Danny Busick of Newtown said the funding is important.

Busick still disagrees with the court decision.
