Busdieker Announces Retirement From Missouri FFA

After 43 years of service to agriculture education, including the last decade as Missouri FFA’s adviser, Leon Busdieker will retire from his role this summer.  Busdieker reflects on the tremendous growth that FFA has seen in his over four-decade long career, first in the ag shop and later with the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Busdieker notes that the transition to his successor is already underway, and chapters shouldn’t experience a significant change.

Missouri FFA Adviser Leon Busdieker was named the 2020 Outstanding State Supervisor by the National Association of Supervisors in Agricultural Education.  His retirement takes effect July 1st.
