Burton Is The AMC Golf Champion-Kendrick Tied For Runner-Up

A Westran graduate is the American Midwest Conference Golf Champion. Columbia College graduate student Trey Burton carded rounds of 71, 70 and 74 to win the tournament by one stroke over a pair of teammates, including Kanon Kendrick. The South Shelby graduate had rounds of 72, 70 and 74. Both were 1st Team All-AMC and Kendrick was named to the Champions of Character Team.

It is the second straight conference championship for Columbia College. The Cougars will head to the NAIA Men’s Golf Championships May 21-24 in Dalton, Georgia.
