The Truman State football team will try to add to their resume when they make the trip to Liberty to play William Jewell on Saturday. At 6-1, the Bulldogs are one of 10 teams with one loss or less in the NCAA Super Region 3 and the first regional rankings come out on Monday. The ‘Dogs latest win came on a Josh Scheiderer 28-yard field goal with seven seconds left to beat Missouri S&T 41-39 in a thriller last Saturday. Nesbitt’s signalcaller, Barr, went over 6,000 yards passing and over 8,000 total offense yards for his career last week becoming only the second Bulldog all-time to reach those levels.
