Brookfield’s Stevens Discusses Leaving Coaching, Accepting AD Job

A month ago, Brookfield hired Cory Luke to replace Scott Stevens as the head football coach. Stevens is remaining in the district and will be Brookfield’s new Athletic Director and high school assistant principal.

Stevens had to give up his head coaching duties in order to accept the promotion.

During his four years as head coach, Stevens compiled a 10-30 record. Stevens says the Athletic Director position will give him an opportunity have an impact on more students.

Brookfield finished 5-5 in 2020 and fell to the Class 2 runners-up in the district semifinals.
