Brookfield School Switching to Eight-Period Day

Brookfield is switching to an eight-period school day in the upcoming year. Superintendent Dr. Eric Hoyt says that’s resulted in a notable change to the calendar.

Brookfield’s school days will now run from 8 am to 3:10 pm. Hoyt says there’s one other difference in the new calendar.

Classes will begin August 21st and end May 14th, 2025. The calendar was approved at this month’s Brookfield School Board meeting.
