The Truman State women also had a major award winner. Hannah Belanger is the GLVC Freshman of the Year, while Sloane Totta and Katie Jaseckas were selected first team all-GLVC.
Belanger is the second Truman player in three seasons to win the league’s “Freshman of the Year” award. Totta repeats on the first team, becoming the first Bulldog to earn consecutive first team all-GLVC honors since Georgia Mueller (MYOO-lur) in 2007 and 2008.
The lone senior enters the GLVC tournament with 12.8 points per game and was fourth in the conference in assists per game (4.33). She is also in the top five in conference only stats in assist/turnover ratio (1.63).
