At the end of 2019-20 school year, the Brashear School District will be saying goodbye to Superintendent Shelley Shipman. Shipman says her exit plan is in place and a replacement is ready to go.

Shipman spent her first 14 years as a sixth grade teacher at Brashear. She then spent ten years as an assistant principal before making her final move to become Brashear Superintendent. Shipman talks about what drove her during her career.

With nine years spent as Brashear Superintendent, Shipman has many fond memories and accomplishments. Shipman says one particular moment stands out.

Funds from the bond issue were used for building renovations in the Brashear School District. Josh Brummet will officially take over as Brashear Superintendent on July 1st.
