Brashear School District Eyes Future as 2019-20 School Year Finishes

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in graduations being significantly changed or re-scheduled to the summer months. Brashear Superintendent Shelley Shipman says they were able to give their high school students a proper graduation ceremony.
While many districts are concerned about the negative economic impact from COVID-19, Shipman says she likes the financial position Brashear is currently in.
The Brashear School District’s budget for the 2020-21 school year should be finalized by June 30th. The next Brashear School Board meeting is scheduled for June 17th.
