Both Truman Teams Appear in First Regional Rankings

Both Truman State basketball teams appear in the first set of NCAA Midwest Regional Rankings released today (Wed.). The Bulldog men are 2nd behind Indianapolis. The Greyhounds beat the ‘Dogs on a buzzer-beater on Saturday. Coach Jeff Horner was pleasantly surprised by the lofty rankings…

Bellarmine is 3rd, followed by Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Missouri-St. Louis, Southern Indiana, Michigan Tech, Davenport and Findlay.

The Truman women are 10th in the Midwest Regional Rankings. Drury is number one, followed by Ashland (both are undefeated and top the national rankings), Grand Valley State, Walsh, Kentucky Wesleyan, Southern Indiana, Ferris State, Lewis, Lindenwood and the Bulldogs.

The Regional Rankings are a guide for determining at-large teams for the D2 NCAA Tournament. There are eight regions.
