Boots and Black Tie at Maples Rep Saturday Night

Boots and Black Tie at Maples Repertory Theatre in downtown Macon on Saturday night can be considered a kickoff to the new season of shows, but more importantly, it’s a key fundraiser. Artistic Director Todd Davison told KWIXLand This Morning listeners that the event is counted on to raise about 10 percent of the theatre’s annual budget.

Davison said the auction is being handled a little differently this time.

Tickets are available in advance and cost $75. An open house was held Tuesday night showing off the renovations at the theatre.
