As the school year approaches, many districts are finalizing plans how they will resume classes while a global pandemic unfolds. Many districts are also trying to figure out if they will be able to hold extracurricular activities. Boonville Superintendent Dr. Sarah Marriott says that has been a significant discussion with everyone in the district.

Marriott says the Tri-County conference schools are hoping to come up with some uniformity when it comes to any decisions.

The Tri-County conference covers six counties across central Missouri. Some counties in the conference have as little as 55 cases, while others have as much as 1,000. Marriott admits it will probably be difficult for the conference to have a full uniformity compared to others in the area.

Fall sports practices are scheduled to begin Monday, August 10th.
