Boonville Senior Brownfield Calls Her Collegiate Basketball Home “Special”

Two weeks ago, Boonville girls basketball senior Addi Brownfield announced she will play her collegiate ball at Division I Western Illinois. Brownfield says the opportunity to play for the Fighting Leathernecks is special.
The three-time KRES All-Star elaborates on her relationship with Leatherneck starters Elizabeth Lutz and Danni Nichols.
Brownfield says she already has a good relationship with Western Illinois coach JD Gravina, who is entering his 11th season as head coach.
The reigning state champ already has some personal goals she’d like to accomplish during her senior season at Boonville.
Western Illinois finished 8-16 last year and represent The Summit League.
