Three people were arrested following a robbery in Boone County. Saturday afternoon around 5, Boone County deputies responded to a reported robbery on Purdy Lane. A Boone County man reported three people approached him and demanded the keys to his vehicle as they began to assault him. One of the suspects then threatened him with a handgun, so the victim gave the suspects his keys and his cell phone. All three suspects then left in the man’s vehicle. A deputy quickly located the stolen vehicle, however the driver failed to stop and led the deputies on a pursuit into Callaway County. With the assistance from multiple state and local law enforcement, all three suspects were apprehended safely in the 4800 block of State Road F near Fulton. Arrested were 20-year-old Tracey Martin, of Columbia, 31-year-old William Templeton Jr, of Fulton, and 26-year-old John Garett, of Fulton. All face charges of first degree robbery. Garrett also faces charges of felony resisting arrest, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
