Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services has extended the stay at home order until May 3rd, to coincide with the state’s order. It will expire at 11:59 the night of Friday, May 3rd, or until it is extended, rescinded, superseded or amended in writing. Restaurants and retail food establishments still cannot conduct dine-in service, but can continue to do curbside pickup, drive-through or delivery. Other retail businesses, including those that have been deemed non-essential, may take and fill orders via shipping, delivery, or curbside pickup. A plan is being drafted for the steps necessary to further reopen, and will be announced next week.
