The man wanted for killing a woman and her daughter in Boone County last month has reportedly been found dead in South Dakota. The Union County, South Dakota, Sheriff’s Department reports 45-year-old JT McLean was found Wednesday night in a stolen vehicle at a motel parking lot. He had apparently died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was wanted in connection for the deaths of 43-year-old Allison Abitz and 11-year-old Jozee Abitz. Their bodies were found inside their home on Lavender Drive, just south of Columbia. McLean was the long-term boyfriend of Allison, and he has also now been connected to the deaths of two people in Miller County. Deputies found the bodies of 74-year-old Daniel Stephan and 64-year-old Pamela Stephan of Kaiser Wednesday night.
