Bond Change Denied For Moberly Man Charged with Abuse or Neglect of a Child

Randolph County Children’s Division learned a 10-month-old baby had been flown from MRMC to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatment, and was in critical condition after trauma to the brain along with injuries to the face and body. An investigation revealed the child was left in the care of Mohr, and was taken to the hospital after the mother noticed abnormal behavior and injury when the child was returned to her.
According to the Moberly Police, the suspect admitted to officers he became angry with the child when she continually cried, striking her numerous times with items that included a cell phone and a metal tool box.
Mohr is being held in the Randolph County Jail, with bond set at $150,000 cash only. His next court appearance is Monday afternoon.
