Bipartisan Agreement Emerging for MoDOT Worker Pay Increases

During his recent State of the State address Governor Mike Parson called on the Missouri Legislature to approve an 8.7 percent pay increase for all state workers, including those within the Missouri Department of Transportation. Representative Tim Taylor of Bunceton says MoDOT is in need of this pay increase.

Taylor is a member of the House Transportation Accountability Committee. He says both parties seem to be in agreement that these pay raises are needed.

Parson’s pay raise proposal for state workers would take effect on March 1st if approved by lawmakers.
