Bill Allowing Car Dealers to Collect Vehicle Sales Tax Advances to the Senate

The Missouri House of Representatives has approved a bill allowing car dealers to collect vehicle sales tax. Representative Tim Taylor of Bunceton says this will be beneficial to car dealers.

Taylor adds this will provide a boost to Missouri financially.

State officials estimate the cost of temporary tag abuse is between 40 and 60-million dollars in uncollected tax revenues.
