Bids Opened for Moberly Airport Project

Bids were opened earlier this week, for a major runway project at Moberly’s Omar Bradley Airport. Public Works Director Tom Sanders says the low bid came in under the engineering estimate of $5.9 million.

As we reported earlier, some additional good news is that the entire cost of the project is funded.

Some prep work could take place this summer, with the bulk of the work potentially beginning next March.
