Bay Farm To Host Crops & Conservation Field Day August 12th

Missouri Soybeans and Missouri Corn will co-host the Bay Farm Research Center’s annual field day August 12th at the facility east of Columbia. Research Director Greg Luce says part of the tour will focus on the latest advancements in breeding soybean traits.
Soyleic Oil will also feature on the lunch menu, as the meal will consist of fish fried in the product. Luce says field day participants will also receive an update on the group’s strip trials.
A discussion on carbon credit markets will follow the tours August 12th at the Bay Farm Research Center. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 9. Advanced registration is encouraged by visiting the Missouri Soybeans website.
