Bay Farm To Host Cover Crop Field Day March 21st

A wide array of topics concerning the use of cover crops are up for discussion during Missouri Soybeans’ annual Cover Crop Field Day, March 21st at the Bay Farm Research Center outside Columbia.  Clayton Light is the group’s director of conservation agriculture and field operations.

Light says while presentations will take place indoors, farmers will have the chance to see many cover crop varieties first-hand and the equipment used.

Clayton Light of Missouri Soybeans says the Cover Crop Field Day will run from 8:30 to 1:30 on March 21st and include lunch.  Reservations are encouraged by visiting the Missouri Soybeans website or by calling the Center for Soy Innovation at 573-635-3819.
