Basye’s IEP Bill Takes Significant Step

Representative Chuck Basye’s Individualized Education Program bill unanimously passed out of the Elementary and Secondary Education Committee last week.
The bill also was approved to be reviewed by the Consent and House Procedures Committee. Basye believes if the bill can reach the consent calendar, it has a very good chance of getting across the finish line.
The Consent and House Procedures Committee is expected to hear the bill later this week.
