Basye Weighs in on School Board Recall Bill Moving Through Senate

Last year, Represenative Chuck Basye filed a bill which would allow school board members to be recalled. Similar legislation is currently being moved in the Senate. The Rocheport Republican says the bill he filed last year was based on what was happening in Columbia and larger school districts.

Centralmoinfo.com asked Basye if this type of legislation should be expanded to include any state elected official.

Basye chairs the House Elementary and Secondary Education Committee.
