Basye Talks About Violent Crime Special Session Beginning

The Missouri Legislature reconvenes at the state capitol Monday for a special session to address violent crime. Representative Chuck Basye is looking forward to tackling this issue.

With many people in the United States calling for police reform, and police defunding, Basye was asked if the legislature can balance that, while trying to address violent crime in the state.

Basye is anticipating this special session to solely focus on violent crime, and anticipates there will be future special sessions to address such items like CARES Act funding.
