Basye Sponsored Bill Passes in Final Committee

House Bill 1747, a bill regarding changes to provisions to school boards sponsored by representative Chuck Basye, passed in a final committee earlier this week. Basye also says a petition bill made it through the House Education Committee this week and he is excited for debates on education moving forward.

Basye also says changes in curriculum will be a focus in the future.

Basye is the chairman of the Elementary and Secondary Education Committee.
