Basye Files Bill Hoping to Get Transportation Funding Through Excess Public School Funds

Representative Chuck Basye has filed a bill which could potentially help with transportation funding for school districts.
The bill would also allow public schools to hire professionals to short-term contracts to teach a specialty class. Basye was asked how schools would react to the bill considering a large amount of public districts have very little to no excess funds.
Basye is the chair of the House Elementary and Secondary Education Committee.
