A bill passed through the House last week would allow for school districts to share superintendents. Representative Chuck Basye says this is not a mandate.
Centralmoinfo.com asked the chair of the House Elementary and Secondary Education Committee if this bill opens the potential for districts to consolidate.
Basye thinks the $30,000 incentive for teacher and counselor pay makes this a stronger bill. The senate has yet to receive the passed legislation.
