The Harrisburg School District filled another fall sports head coaching position. Tess Balke was introduced as the new softball coach at Harrisburg’s courtwarming games on Friday night.
Balke said a personal connection led her to the Harrisburg opportunity.
Balke has been the head softball coach at Jamestown for the past two seasons. She took over an Eagles program that was 3-15 and led an improvement to 8-11 her first season and a district championship game appearance this past season and a record of 11-11.
Balke wants hard work to translate into success for her team.
Balke is a Cole Camp graduate and played at State Fair Community College.
