Bailey Expresses Concern Over Grain Belt

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is concerned about projects like Grain Belt Express.
He says landowners have rights.
Invenergy says the project will save Missouri consumers 5.8 billion dollars over 15 years, provide 15 hundred jobs during construction, and provide power to 39 municipal utilities in the state. Bailey encourages landowners to do research before selling their land to companies.
Bailey supports U.S. Senator Josh Hawley’s proposed legislation that would ensure Missourians affected by the Grain Belt Express transmission lines to be fairly compensated.
