Auxvasse Man Killed in Randolph County Accident

An Auxvasse man was killed in an accident involving a pickup and a tractor-trailer truck in Randolph County Saturday night. The accident took place at 9pm on Highway 63, six miles south of Moberly. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup driven by 73-year-old Donald Becker of Auxvasse failed to yield and pulled into the path of a tractor-trailer truck driven by 45-year-old Raul Aguilar of American Falls, Idaho. Both vehicles came to rest in the median and caught fire. Becker was transported to Columbia where he was pronounced dead four hours later. Aguilar suffered minor injuries and was also transported to Columbia for treatment. A passenger in Becker’s vehicle, a 17-year-old teenaged boy from Clark, was uninjured in the accident.
