Atlanta Exploring Bond Issue for Building Project

The Atlanta School District is working to finalize plans for a bond issue for a school building project. Atlanta Superintendent Will Perkins says it would center around either renovating the current school building or constructing a new one.

Facility Solutions Group attended the December school board meeting to present the structural engineers report. Perkins says the current school building is beginning to show its age.

A final decision on putting the bond issue on the April ballot is expected at the next Atlanta School Board meeting on January 18th.
