The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre was scheduled to celebrate its 60th anniversary. However, COVID-19 forced those plans to be changed. The theatre will instead celebrate those plans during its 2021-22 season with the performance of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”. Producing Artistic Director Quin Gresham says they are ready to return to the stage.

The pandemic did force the cancellation of some of the anniversary plans. However, Gresham says there are still plans to honor the theatre’s past during the upcoming season.

Performers from as far back as the 1970’s will be recognized during the 2021-22 season. Gresham says the show selection for this season is meant to bring something old and something new to the theatre.

Tickets for “The Little Mermaid” August 11th through the 22nd are currently on sale. They can be purchased by calling the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre box office at 660-837-3311 or by visiting lyceumtheatre.org.
